TAM will hold its annual summer company auditions Monday, January 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Cumston Hall, 796 Main Street, Monmouth, ME.

The 2013 Summer Season includes: Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew, Francis Beaumont’s Knight of the Burning Pestle; Thornton Wilder’s 75th Anniversary of Our Town; Joan Didion’s The Year of Magical Thinking; and an original adaptation of Margery Williams’ The Velveteen Rabbit. First rehearsal is June 11 and the season closes on August 18. Each actor in the summer company plays three or four roles; all shows are rehearsed and performed in repertory. The summer season operates on a LOA to LORT contract with Actors’ Equity and union rules will be followed for Equity and non-Equity actors. Internships are also available.

TAM’s summer season is a true ensemble of more than 50 theatre artists from all over the country. We rehearse and perform in repertory in Cumston Hall, a 250-seat Victorian opera house; rehearsals take place in our newly renovated Grange Hall. We’re looking for theatre professionals who would like to join a strong ensemble company and are interested in teamwork, collaboration, and artistic growth in a creatively charged environment.
