The Monmouth Lions Club is part of District 41 of Lions Clubs International. The Mission of both the local club as well as all international organizations is to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace, and promote international understanding.

Helen Melledy Hall, formerly the Monmouth Grange and renamed in honor of the beloved 92-year-old community volunteer, has been owned and operated by Theater at Monmouth for more than 20 years. Located at 775 Main Street in Monmouth it is in the center of the designated downtown area of the Monmouth Downtown Plan. The renovation, supported through grants from the USDA Rural Development Fund and Communities for Maine’s Future Economic Development program, will be available for community rental when the theatre is not producing and will also serve as the regions emergency shelter.

Come on out and support our community!
